Find the average rate of change of the function...... f ( x ) = 2 x ^2 + 2 x − 4 , on the interval x ∈ [-1,4].

just plugin the x values into the equation to find f(x). Then use slope to find average rate of change

(36 +4)/(4+1) = 8
