Statement Problem: Expand the expression;

[tex]y(-3-8x)[/tex]

Solution:

We would multiply the variable with each of the term.

[tex]\begin{gathered} y(-3-8x) \\ (y\times-3)+(y\times-8x) \\ -3y-8xy \end{gathered}[/tex]
